Chapter News
Welcome to the RDC Triangle Chapter Website!

Chris-Craft. Hacker Craft. Century, Lyman, Cruisers Inc....whatever your preference, the RDC Triangle Chapter was created for you in an effort to advance the classic and wooden boat movement in North Carolina! We are here to promote and encourage a love and enjoyment of antique and classic boating at it’s highest level in all aspects.
We love our boats and use them on a regular basis. We can help you think about what boat is best for you, how to go about procuring one and provide assistance/guidance in maintaining your boat.
We’re also here to promote and sponsor classic boating events as well as to educate our membership and the general public on these great crafts. Additionally, we provide an annual scholarship for  student in the Wooden Boat Building Program of the Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC.
If you enjoy the beauty of a wooden or classic glass boat and like to have a good time than we’re the club for you!
Check out our calendar of events for our next get together!

If you are considering membership in this or any ACBS chapter you must first become an ACBS member and then select a local chapter to affiliate with. This can all be accomplished on the membership application form on the ACBS website at If you do not select our chapter, you will not receive any of the communications we send because we use the ACBS based email system. Please contact any of our officers or members for information orassistance in joining our chapter.

at Galley Store Marina,  New Bern, NC
(on the Neuse River)
This year's show is the second year at a new venue in New Bern NC on Saturday/Sunday May 20/21, 2017 - the weekend before Memorial Day. Don't miss this great event at a new venue where there are many hotels, restaurants and shopping. Excellent boating on the Neuse and Trent Rivers.
The 2016 show was a huge success with lots of interesting boats both on land and in the water. Our featured boat, the Barbour, was very well represented in the town were it was built. Plan on participating in cruises on Saturday and Sunday More information will be available in the Spring.
